Women and the Spirit of the New Deal

A collaboration effort by the Frances Perkins Center, the Living New Deal, and the National New Deal Preservation Association, the publication “Women and the Spirit of the New Deal,” published in 2019, highlights the extensive roles of women in the programs and operations of the New Deal under President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. This narrative begins to identify the hundreds, if not thousands, of women whose roles during this defining period of American history, were of great consequence and from which we continue to benefit today.  Purchase price: $20.00 plus tax.  Email: info@FrancesPerkinsCenter.org or call us at 207-563-3374.
