Family Day – Fun for All Ages

Inaugural Family Day at the Frances Perkins National Monument!

In partnership with the National Park Service, the Frances Perkins Center will be hosting a special afternoon for families to learn about and be inspired by Frances Perkins.

We will be joined by Ruth Monsell, author of “Frances Perkins, Champion of American Workers,” and Jennifer Merz, author of “Steadfast, Frances Perkins Champion of Workers’ Rights.” Books will be available for purchase.

Bring the whole family! There will be activities for all ages—from young children to older students and parents—the afternoon will feature book readings, a scavenger hunt, crafts, games, a raffle, coloring pages, and more.

IMPORTANT: OFF-SITE PARKING ONLY for this event. FREE shuttle runs every 15-20 minutes from the Renys Distribution Center parking lot at 731 US-1, Newcastle.
